Book Selection for May 2024: The Thread Collectors by Shaunna J. Edwards and Alyson Richman, 2022. An unforgettable story of female strength, hope and friendship. 1863, amidst the American Civil War, two women, a black slave and a Jewish New York woman find their paths converging in New Orleans, as they risk everything for love and freedom while discovering that even the most delicate threads have the capacity to save us.
