It is tradition on Erev Shavout to celebrate the giving of the Torah by spending an evening of study together – Tikun leil Shavuot. We honour the tradition this year, apart together, with an evening of virtual study combining both live and archived videos. The first two hours of the evening include live presentations by Rabbi Anibal Mass and Dr. Rena Secter Elbaze with interactive chat, then we transition to a curated playlist of videos from our rich library of Shaarey Zedek educational sessions from Rabbi Anibal Mass’s Torah L’Chayim, and previous classes offered by Rabbi Matthew Leibl. A schedule of these 10-hours of teachings will be provided on Facebook and the Shaarey Zedek Website the Friday prior to Shavuot so you can choose which lessons to watch – or watch them all! There will be breaks between each session.

Make this event extra festive by having your favorite dairy snacks and special beverages ready.
