Dear friends,
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Israeli citizens who have been kidnapped by Hamas, as well as the families of those who have been affected by acts of terrorism in Israel. In times of darkness and despair, it is important to hold onto hope and strive for peace.
Let us pray for the safe return of those who have been kidnapped, that they may be reunited with their loved ones and find strength in their resilience. May their courage inspire us all to work towards a future where such acts of violence are replaced with understanding and dialogue.
We also remember and honour those who have lost their lives to acts of terror in Israel. May their memories be a source of strength and a reminder of the importance of promoting peace and unity.
In these challenging times, let us hope and pray for a brighter future, where all people, regardless of their background, can live in harmony and security. May peace prevail, and may we all contribute to its realization through our actions and prayers.
A community prayer vigil and Israel support rally is being planned for Tuesday, October 10th at 7:00 PM at the Asper Jewish Community Campus and stream online (more info)
