It’s the gantseh megillah (the whole story)! Join us for Shaarey Zedek’s annual --- but now virtual --- Megillah Reading for the whole Mishpacha (family) with costumes, puppets, music, and more! Watch a colorful reading of the Megillat Esther, with captions on the screen and puppet narration – no book required. This event is hosted by Rabbi Anibal Mass with chapters read by Rabbi Matthew Leibl, Leslie Emery (Lay Clergy), and Dr. Rena Secter Elbaze, our Engagement and Education Director! 

STEP UP YOUR PURIM GAME AT HOME! Dress in a costume or a special hat – children and adults – bring a grogger if you have one, or make one using crafts or things around the house! Stick some dried beans in a plastic bottle – whatever makes noise will work 😊. Put up some streamers if you have, make a poster – whatever gets you in the spirit of Purim! Put out some snacks or maybe finger foods for dinner! Don’t forget your favorite beverage! 😉
